The Parlour
Where Ladyhawk speaks in silk, steel, and secrets
Welcome to The Parlour, my personal journal of desire, discipline, and dominance.
Here, I share stories from behind the curtain—thoughts on control, the beauty of ritual, and the tools I wield in both play and power.
Whether you're locked, longing, or simply curious, there's a seat here for you.
Pour a drink. Stay awhile. And don't touch anything… unless you're told.
The First Time I Used Handcuffs

It Wasn’t About Restraint. Not Really.
The first time I used handcuffs on someone, I expected to feel powerful.
What I didn’t expect… was how intimate it would feel.
It was a man I trusted. Someone who had looked at me once and said, “Do it properly.”
So I did.
I took the steel cuffs in my hand — cold, weighty, absolute — and something inside me shifted.
They weren’t straps or rope or silk.
They clicked.
They locked.
They made decisions for me.
The moment they closed around his wrists, so did I.
The Ritual of the Lock
I remember his face as I fastened the first one.
He didn’t flinch. But his body changed — a slight pause in his breath. A pulse just under the skin.
That cuff wasn’t just restraint. It was permission.
And when I added the second?
He looked up at me like I’d touched something sacred.
And I had.
Because there’s something ancient about a lock.
It’s a ritual. A finality. A quiet truth whispered between metal and skin:
“You’re mine now.”
The Moment After
He tested them, of course. Tugged. Rolled his wrists.
But there was no escape. Only sound — that gentle clink of chain, the music of surrender.
I watched him move, bound and beautiful, and felt something bloom in my chest.
Not lust.
Not power.
Possession.
And once I felt it, I never wanted to give it back.
I’ve Learned Since Then
I’ve used leather, rope, belts, silks.
But nothing has ever quite replaced the feeling of those first cuffs.
That cold steel promise. That click of no return.
It wasn’t about making him stay still.
It was about making him know:
He couldn’t move without me letting him.
And to this day — when I take the key from around my neck and offer it back to the lock — I remember how it began.
How I learned the art of control with a single, beautiful click.
The Sound of Being Owned
Why I put bells on things

I Like Things That Tell Tales
I have always liked locks.
The little click when they close.
The satisfying weight of a key in my hand.
The knowledge that something which was removable a moment ago suddenly isn't.
But lately I've developed another fascination.
Bells.
Tiny ones.
Pretty ones.
The sort that look almost innocent attached to a delicate chain around a wrist or ankle.
Almost.
Because a lock keeps a secret.
A bell tells on you.
And I rather like that.
You Can Forget a Lock. You Cannot Ignore a Bell.
There is something wonderfully psychological about wearing something that makes a sound every time you move.
Walk across the room?
Chime.
Shift position?
Chime.
Reach for something you perhaps shouldn't be reaching for?
Well...
Chime.
It transforms a little piece of jewellery into a reminder.
Not an uncomfortable one. Not something brutal or ugly.
Quite the opposite.
Something delicate. Decorative. Almost feminine.
Except I've locked it on.
And I have the key.
That changes things rather nicely.
The Bell Doesn't Judge You
That's my job.
The bell simply reports.
It doesn't care why you moved.
It doesn't care whether you were being good.
It certainly doesn't care whether you thought nobody would notice.
It just rings.
There is something delicious about that little loss of secrecy.
Especially when its wearer has been given certain instructions.
Suddenly a tiny sound means rather more than it should.
And after a while, you begin noticing every single one.
I certainly do.
Control Doesn't Need to Be Severe
I think people sometimes misunderstand dominance.
They imagine shouting. Punishment. Black leather. Threats.
Those things have their place.
But some of the most effective control is almost ridiculously subtle.
A key worn at my throat.
A lock around your wrist.
A rule whispered rather than shouted.
Or a tiny bell that reminds you of me every time it moves.
That is much more my style.
Pretty things with consequences.
And Yes, I Have Been Experimenting
Naturally, once the thought occurred to me, I started making things.
Chains.
Locks.
Little clusters of bells.
Bracelets and anklets that look quite charming until you notice the small padlock.
I've worn them myself.
I've listened to them.
I've experimented with where they sit and how they sound.
Some arrangements produce the faintest little tinkle.
Others are considerably less discreet.
I haven't yet decided which I prefer.
Perhaps that depends entirely upon who is wearing them.
And why.
Every Chime
The phrase that keeps coming back to me is this:
Every chime of your bell reminds you that I own your pleasure.
I think that rather neatly explains the appeal.
The bell isn't the control.
I am.
The bell is simply the reminder.
A little piece of LadyHawk following you around long after I've gone.
Watching?
No.
Listening?
Perhaps.
